WHO WE ARE

Stichting Creciendo is a non-profit organization focused on the holistic development of children and youth through creativity, culture, and emotional growth.

The Creative Kids Club (CKC) is the flagship program of Stichting Creciendo and forms the foundation of all its educational and creative initiatives. CKC uses art-based education and art coaching to strengthen cultural identity, emotional resilience, and essential life skills. 

  

WHAT WE DO

Activities Summary 

​1. After-School Program – Past to Palette 

Past to Palette is a structured after-school cultural art education program developed under the Creative Kids Club. The program connects Aruba’s cultural heritage with creative expression and emotional development through five core disciplines, combining art education with art coaching. 

 

The program works with rotating age groups – 8-12 years and 13-17 years - to ensure age-appropriate content, language, and learning objectives.

2. Core Disciplines 

The Past to Palette program is delivered through the following five disciplines: 

* Music 

* Dance & Movement 

* Theatre 

* Mindful Gardening 

* Cultural Art Classes and Art Coaching

Art Coaching focuses on personal growth, emotional resilience, teamwork, reflection, and creative problem-solving.

3. Community-Based Implementation 

The program is implemented within local communities across Aruba’s districts in collaboration with community centers, libraries, and cultural institutions. This ensures accessibility, cultural relevance, and strong community engagement.

Stichting Creciendo serves:

• Underprivileged and underserved participants by ensuring access to high-quality creative programs 

• Families and communities by embedding programs within local districts and cultural spaces
