WHO WE ARE
Fundacion Pulso is dedicated to making art accessible for all, from children to seniors. They focus on projects that connect generations and encourage creativity in everyday life.
Their Arte Recicla project invited children and elderly participants to create art from recycled materials, blending creativity with environmental awareness. They also run Aruban Artisans Meet Latin America, connecting local artisans with new cultural influences through workshops and exchanges.
WHAT WE DO
1. Project Arte Recicla

Description: This project, conducted from April 6 to April 30, 2024, focused on creating art from recycled materials. It involved children from a local school and elderly clients from a community center.

Participants:

Children: 17 initial sign-ups from Santa Famia School, resulting in 12 participants completing the project.

Elderly Clients: Around 30 participants from Maristella Savaneta, including dementia patients and other residents.

Activities: The children created two products – dreamcatchers from recycled materials and handbags from old jeans. The elderly clients engaged in painting, making bags, dancing, and singing.
2. Aruban Artisans meet Latin America

Description: A project funded by the Fonds voor Cultuurparticipatie, aiming to connect Aruban artisans with Latin American culture through various activities.
