WHO WE ARE

Cas di Cultura is Aruba’s national cultural centre and serves as a central platform for arts, culture, education, and social dialogue. The organisation develops and hosts cultural programmes that contribute to personal development, creative expression, talent growth, and social cohesion, with particular attention to youth, vulnerable groups and emerging talent.

WHAT WE DO

Cas di Cultura designs and delivers educational and artistic programmes that use culture as a vehicle for development, participation and empowerment.
Within the Let’s Act project, Cas di Cultura provides:

  • Fashion Workshops
Creative fashion workshops for young people aspiring to a career in fashion. Workshops cover themes such as recycling, sustainability, and practical fashion techniques. Participants will also have the opportunity to cast models for a final fashion show featuring their own designs.

  • EVENT: Battle of the Bands
A competition for amateur bands, held over three rounds in different Centro di Bario’s. Winners from each round compete in the finale on May 29. Prizes include a gift card from Cliffix and a professionally recorded music video in collaboration with Music Hub Aruba.

  • Road to Pride Workshops
In preparation for the Pride program, we organize three free workshops in different disciplines (art, theater, poetry), led by queer artists. These workshops focus on self-expression and personal growth.

  • Singing in the Bario Workshops
Community-based singing groups led by a professional vocal coach. The workshops aim to provide fun, connection, and opportunities to develop singing skills. The program concludes with a concert.

WHO WE SERVE

Young people and community members with creative ambitions—interested in fashion, music, arts, self-expression, and personal growth, including queer youth and amateur performers in local neighborhoods. Through the Let’s Act programmes, Cas di Cultura reaches both direct participants and a broad public audience, extending cultural impact beyond the individual programme.
