WHO WE ARE
"Baila bo Historia" (Dance your History) is a cultural movement that connects dance, history, and community. We use movement as a living archive—bringing stories, traditions, and collective memory to life through the body. Rooted in Aruba’s cultural heritage, we believe history is not only something you read, but something you experience, share, and pass on.
WHAT WE DO
We design and facilitate dance-based cultural activities that combine historical storytelling with physical expression. Through workshops, performances, intergenerational sessions, and community events, participants explore themes such as identity, heritage, and social change. Our approach is inclusive and participatory: no dance background is required, only curiosity and willingness to engage.
Beyond performance, Baila Bo Historia creates safe spaces for dialogue, reflection, and connection—using dance as a tool for learning, wellbeing, and cultural continuity.
WHO WE SERVE
Baila Bo Historia serves the wider Aruban community, with a strong focus on:

-
Adults and seniors who carry lived history and stories
-
Community groups, schools, and cultural organizations
-
Intergenerational audiences who learn from and with each other
By bringing different generations and backgrounds together, Baila Bo Historia strengthens social cohesion and keeps cultural knowledge alive in a dynamic, embodied way.
